Hannah has been working hard to apply for grants to benefit the Group and support its continued growth.
We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in a number of applications. In total we have raised over £11,500!
We would like to say a huge thank you to the following organisations Berkshire Community Foundation, Barker Bridge House Trust, Tesco Bags of Help and the Trinity House Fund.
The funds will be well spent and has already resulted in the Group purchasing new kayaks, spray decks, paddles, helmets and buoyancy aids. In addition we have three new rowing dinghies which are already in use with the Scout Section. Plus an order has been placed for a new box trailer which will be with us this summer!
